Meet the Exec Team!
Our nine-person exec team is here to make sure your music journey with BDMC is everything you want it to be! From organizing events, to setting up the stage, to media content, we help make sure everything runs smoothly. We work directly with our Music Director team to ensure we are doing everything we can to support our members. Our goal is to make BDMC a safe space for everyone who loves music!

Riley Spitznagel

Riley is a grad student studying environmental science with a concentration in environmental chemistry, toxicology, and risk assessment! She plays bass and violin, and is in the band "Garden Cinema". She is so excited for all the exciting events BDMC will be putting together for the upcoming semesters!
Leila Thompson

Leila Thompson is a sophomore double majoring in Recreational Therapy and Clinical Psychology. She plays guitar and sings. She is a member of the local band, Always Late. She is excited to get more people involved with jams and gigs. She is also excited for Presents at the end of the year!
Rita Haas

Rita is a sophomore majoring in Law and Public Policy, with a minor in Arts Management. She is a bassist for local band “Always Late”, and co-runs the Media Team! She is super excited to continue expanding the group. Feel free to contact her for any and all questions about the clubs media!

Noah is a junior at IU majoring in Psychology with a double minor in Spanish and theater! This is his second year involved with BDMC, and he couldn’t be more excited to be a part of leadership. Noah also plays bass for the band “Soul Intention”!

Audrey is a sophomore with a double major in Human Biology and Neuroscience & a minor in marketing. She is a singer, triathlete, and loves sushi. She can’t wait to see what BDMC brings this year, and to meet all the new and old faces!
Ryan Schwartz

Stagehands Chair

Ryan Schwartz is a senior majoring in Mathematics and Music Production and minoring in Statistics. His main instrument is bass but he plays guitar and drums on the side. In his home town he plays in the band, Pajammies and in Bloomington he plays for Hank Ruff and the Hellbenders. This past spring Ryan worked to streamline BDMC’s stagehands operations, which provided live sound and lighting for event planners and many student organizations. This is something that has become a large source of funding and notoriety for BDMC. Ryan is looking forward to growing the Stagehands Operations during the upcoming semester!

You may be wondering…
What do the Music Directors do?
Our Music Directors work directly with club members to help put on jams, showcases, and any of the events BDMC hosts. While the Exec Team organizes events, the Music Directors help make sure the music happens. They let the Exec Team know what our members are wanting so that they can shape the club around the members. BDMC offers 6 unique genre channels for our members to try out so that there is a place for everyone in our club!

On behalf of our entire team, we are fully dedicated to creating a comforting, safe, and fun environment for all BDMC members. We have no tolerance for bigotry of any kind. We constantly strive to make Bloomington Delta Music Club the best that it can be for all of its members.
